Vanitha Samajam

Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam is the Women’s wing of the Malankara Orthodox Church of India. It is one of the major spiritual organization of the church combining all the female members. The organization was founded in 1928 aimed at the spiritual progress of women in the church. The founders named it “Marth Mariam Samajam”after the Blessed Virgin Mary whom they accepted as their interceding saint.

Motto of Marth Mariam Vanitha Samajam is Worship, Work and Shine. (പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുക, പ്രവർത്തിക്കുക, പ്രകാശിക്കുക ) Present office bearers of the unit are Smt. Aleyamma Varghese – Vice President, Smt. Shiji Shibu – Secretary and Smt. Beena Abraham – Treasurer.
