The holy relics of St. Gregorious of Parumala have been reverently interred here in the fond hope that this church will become known as the Parumala of the north. On Sunday 3rd August 2008, after the Holy Communion services, at 10.00 a.m, the vicar Rev. Fr. J. Poulose laid the foundation stone for the structure which was to receive the holy relics of Parumala Mar Gregoriose. On Saturday 15th November 2008, H.G.Poulose Mar Milithiose, the Angamaly diocesan Bishop and Catholicose elect, conducted the ceremony which witnessed the placing of the holy relics the structure that was built for the purpose . As it is situated on the National Highway which runs through angamaly beside its Railway Station and Bus stand, the place is easily accessible to anyone who wishes to pray for the Saints’s blessings at a shrine dedicated to him.
